Park Rules & Policies  

Our rules and regulations are set forth to ensure the safety of all our guests, please be safe and enjoy your stay. Violations of rules may result in immediate eviction without warning or refund. You must understand and agree to abide by these rules and regulations in their entirety upon check in and during your entire stay.

General Rules and Regulations

    1. All guests and visitors must register at our front office. All vehicles must display a parking tag at all times. All non­-camping guests must leave the park by 11:00 P.M.
    2. You must be 21 years of age to rent any spot or cabin in our park; primary renter must be onsite while any member on their party is onsite.
    3. The speed limit for all vehicles in our park is 10 miles per hour and is strictly enforced.
    4. Please respect the property, our neighbors, and fellow campers; Do not cut thru sites – Please use the roads only.
    5. Please park your RV, car, truck, motorcycle, or Golf Carts in your designated site only; no parking on grass, please display your parking pass at all times. Guests and extra vehicles must park as to not block or impose on other guests. Vehicle owners are responsible for any and all towing fees for improperly parked vehicle removal.
    6. Please do not give your gate access code to anyone.
    7. Parents are fully and solely responsible for the behavior and safety of their children.
    8. Quiet time is from 10:30 P.M. until 7:00 A.M. All music must be turned off and Golf Carts be parked by 10:30 P.M.
    9. Excessive noise, nuisance, public drunkenness, illegal drug use, sale or exchange, nudity, foul or offensive language, explosives, fireworks and firearms are not permitted.
    10. Dumping Gray water on the ground is not permitted, each spot has onsite sewer. Use of sewer donuts is encouraged, if you do not own one they are available for purchase in our convenience store.
    11. Use of water for non-­potable services, such as washing vehicles is not permitted.
    12. Campers are responsible for keeping their sites clean during their stay. Dumpsters are provided throughout the facility so place all trash in a sealed bag in the dumpster. Please do not throw cigarette butts or other trash on the ground.
    13. Smoking is not permitted in any building, structure, or pool area.
    14. Alcoholic beverages must be carried discretely in a cup or koozie.
    15. Use of Glass bottles and containers is discouraged throughout our park.
    16. Fires are allowed in all RV spots in approved above ground fire rings only, or in our Camp Fire Area by the lake. All fires must be extinguished by bedtime.
    17. No outside motorized recreational equipment allowed in our park, such as 3 wheelers, 4 wheelers, go-carts, scooters, mini­bikes, or private watercraft. Electric golf carts are allowed (see section below for the rules and regulations for such).
    18. Children are not permitted to ride bicycles or walk around the park without adult supervision after dark.
    19. Absolutely no repairs to RV’s or motor vehicle modifications are allowed inside the park.
    20. No generators please.
    21. No person within the grounds shall behave in such a manner as to jeopardize the safety and health of himself/herself and others. Such behavior, including abusive or profane language, shall be grounds for expulsion without warning or refunds.
    22. No Beer Pong or other excessive drinking games.
    23. The New Bayou Wilderness RV Resort, its owners, employees and/or affiliates are not responsible for damages to your property during your stay, all campers and guests are responsible for any and all injury or accident they are involved in.
RV Site Specific Rules & Policies
    1. All guests and visitors must register at our front office. All non¬camping guests must leave the park at 11:00 P.M.
    2. 5 person occupancy; Children under 2 years of age are not included in the occupancy count.
    3. Check in time is 12:00 P.M.; checkout time is 12:00 P.M. Penalties for late checkout are charged at the rate of $3.00 per hour in full hour increments only until 3 P.M. – no exceptions. Guests staying late in their spot past 3:00 P.M. will be charged for an additional night.
    4. Full Hook-up's include 30 and/or 50 Amp Electricity, Onsite Water, Onsite Sewer and Direct TV/Cable, all are included amenities for all RV Sites. Pull Thru spots are available at no additional charge.
    5. Pets must not be left unattended outside your RV or camper.

Pool Specific Rules

    1. Our Pool and recreation area is for registered guests and registered visitors only, no exceptions. The pool is closed during bad weather.
    2. Pool hours are from 10 A.M. until 10:00 P.M.
    3. The New Bayou Wilderness RV Resort reserves the right to refuse admittance into our swimming facility when the capacity of the pool has been reached or when otherwise deemed necessary for the health, welfare or safety of our patrons.
    4. No running or horseplay in or around our pool.
    5. Everybody must shower off before entering pool.
    6. Swim suits only, no cutoffs, thongs, or street clothes.
    7. There is no lifeguard on duty, swim at your own risk. An Adult must accompany and directly supervise all children 14 and under.
    8. No pets are allowed in our pool or recreation areas.
    9. No glass containers are allowed at the pool or recreation areas.
    10. Swimmers who need diapers must use diapers designed for pool use. Diapers must be changed in designated diaper changing area or restrooms.
    11. If you have a communicable disease that can be transmitted by water or have been ill with diarrhea or vomiting in the last two weeks, please do not use our pool.
    12. Swimmers with seizure, heart or circulatory problems are advised to swim with a buddy.
    13. No food is allowed in the pool water.
    14. Headphones must be worn when listening to personal music or entertainment devices.

Pet Specific Rules and Regulations

    1. Pets are allowed at all sites except cabins. All pets must be controlled at all times and be on a 6 foot leash when outside your camper. Pet owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets. All pet waste should be picked up immediately and placed in appropriate trash containers. Pet owners are fully and solely responsible for the behavior and safety of their pets. Pets are not permitted in any building in the park, pool or recreation areas. There will be a $20.00 fine assessed to anyone who doesn’t clean up after their pet.
    2. No Pit Bulls or aggressive breeds.

Golf Cart Specific Rules and Regulations

    1. The speed limit for all vehicles (including golf carts) in our park is 10 miles per hour and is strictly enforced.
    2. Electric golf carts are allowed provided you register them and pay a $5.00 per day fee for a permit. Only licensed drivers over 17 are allowed to operate golf carts on our property. All Drivers shall be self-insured, proof of insurance required.
    3. Operating personal Golf Carts in violation of any park rules and regulations are subject to eviction of the entire party without refund.

Cancellation Policy

    1. There is a two-night cancellation fee charged for every reservation.
    2. Refund for amounts paid over the one non-refundable night will be issued if the reservation is cancelled three (3) days prior to arrival date.
    3. Only Camping Credits (vouchers), minus the one non-refundable night, will be given for cancellations made less than two weeks prior to arrival date. (Camping Credits/Vouchers expire 1 year after original reservation date, and can not be used on holiday weekends or transferred to another party).
    4. Early departures for any reason are not eligible for refunds.
    5. In the event of a hurricane evacuation or any other natural disaster or act of God related City, Parish, State, or Federally issued MANDATORY evacuation, Only Camping Credits (Vouchers)-NO refunds will be issued.
    6. All refunds are determined solely by The New Bayou Wilderness RV Resort. Request for special refunds or credits must be made in writing providing full proof of emergency circumstances claimed.
